Not Your Momma's Marijuana CME

PLICO is  pleased to partner with the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision to present Not Your Momma's Marijuana in Tulsa (April 1, 2026) and Oklahoma City (April 2, 2026). This session will review the research about how marijuana affects individuals and separate myth from data to understand both short-term intoxication effects and longer-term functional outcomes. We will review the both risks and potential benefits, equipping physicians and healthcare professionals with the tools to provide care to the 1 in 4 Oklahoma adults who currently hold a medical marijuana patient license.

This program approved for 2 AMA Category 1 CME credits™, and it is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision and the Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners to meet the Proper Prescribing requirement for pain management or opioid use or addiction education set for the in SB 848 and 1446.

As you know, we have partnered with Plico and their EXPLORE conference for many years, so when we received word that things were changing, we had to pivot.
