Family & Community Medicine Interest Group

Who We Are:

The FCMIG is the largest student organization at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. They are students dedicated to becoming the best physicians possible while helping others.

The goals of the FCMIG are:

 The FCMIG is responsible for many activities scheduled throughout the school year; Monthly Speaker Series Luncheons, Skills Clinics, and a Family Medicine Residency Fair are some of the activities you can attend.

We look forward to your involvement in the FCMIG.  

  • The annual Welcome Lunch is open to all College of Medicine students.
  • Attendees receive lunch at no charge.
  • Your attendance also makes you eligible for End-of-Year Drawing (every event you attend gives you one entry for that event's drawing. Entries are accumulated throughout the year and combined for one major item to be given away at the end of the academic year. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN for ALL drawings.
